PRC Graduate Wins Scholarship

Isabella Morlier , a graduate of Pearl River Central High School, has been awarded the Walter S. Bounds MASS Scholarship for Excellence, receiving $1,000. Morlier was selected from a pool of over 100 applicants.

The Walter S. Bounds MASS Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving Mississippi high school student. Morlier plans to attend Pearl River Community College and William Carey University, majoring in elementary education. She intends to become a teacher and work at Pearl River County School District (PRCSD) upon graduation.

Morlier is an accomplished student actively involved in her school and community. She was a member of the Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and National Technical Honor Society.
