Funeral Services for Lorraine Fore Walton, age 75, of Nicholson, MS, who passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Ted Strain will officiate the service with Bro. James Taylor singing and Bro. Craig Gravley reading the obituary for the service.

A native of Nicholson, MS, she was a retired Custodian for NASA and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She loved fishing and taking care of her pets. Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert “Willie” Fore and Elmar Friend Fore; brother, Sonny Fore; sister, Janell Fore Martin.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 57 devoted years, Manuel H. “Buster” Walton; son, Dexter Walton and wife Pamela; granddaughter, Anna Battle and husband Craig; sisters, Ivylene Wells and Lucy Sims; numerous nieces and nephews.
