Vera Doughty Guaraggi, 88, of Carriere, Miss. passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Carriere.

Mrs. Guaraggi was a native of Houma, La. and had been a resident of Bay St. Louis for the past 46 years. She was a Christian, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Ellis Doughty; parents, Van & Clavia Babin; four brothers, Wilmer, Murphy, Earl, & Lloyd Babin; four sisters, Meryl Chauvin, Jeanette Doughty, Helen Domangue, & Genieve Webre; and one grandson, Kenneth Paul Fayar

Survived by, one son, Van Joseph Guaraggi of Bay St. Louis; three daughters, Ellen Couch of Eatonton, Ga.; Alma Guillotte (John) of Picayune; Carolyn Fayard (T.J.) of Vancleave; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis with a Prayer Service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of the arrangements.
