Funeral Services for Anna Campbell Dodd, age 80, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, 2018, will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Josh Braddy, her grandson, will officiate the service.

A native of Metairie, Louisiana, she was a retired Registered Nurse at Crosby Home Health, after many years of working at Crosby Memorial Hospital. Anna was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. She was a member of The Gideon’s Auxiliary.

Anna was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Abott Campbell and Viola Moffett Campbell; and her loving husband of 58 years, Jimmy “Papa Dodd” Dodd.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James “Jimmy” R. Dodd, Timmy (Paula) Dodd, Sandra (Willie) Braddy, Thomas “Kojak” (Sherry) Dodd, Donald (Ginny) Dodd, Sherman (Becky) Dodd, and Jill (Chad) Frierson; 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Ellen Collins, John (Nancy) Campbell III, Richard (Glenda) Campbell, Freddie (Barbara) Campbell, and Emma Hecker; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.
