Funeral Services for Elroy Seals, age 78, of Caesar Community, Mississippi, who passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Jarrad Lee will officiate the service; assisted by Rev. Robbie Schaubhut, III.

A native of Caesar Community, Mississippi, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Elroy was a retired Ship Fitter and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. He loved to farm, grow vegetables, and hunt. Elroy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dena Ladner Seals Pearson and Emmett Pearson; his sister, Lavon Bounds; and his brother, Francis “Buddy” Pearson.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Lucy Janet Lee Seals; his son, Kevin Seals; and his daughter, Karen (Josh) Seals; two grandsons, Airick Landry and Tyler Seals; his sisters and brother, Joann Ladner, James “J.E.” (Margie Catherine) Seals, and Ladoncie Sanderson; and several nieces and nephews.
