Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ, Elder David Simmons is pastor and Rev. Markeith McGill will officiate at the services.

Tracey Brown Price Badon, was born on May 2, 1972 to Albert Hathorn, and the late Mrs. Mary Dean Brown Stubbs. 

She began her career at Five County Child Development Program, Inc. for twenty plus years as an Assistant-Teacher and later she was promoted to a Teacher.  She currently held a position in The Family Service Department as a Family Service Worker until her demise.  She also had her own business as a Paparazzi Consultant.   A mentor/coach for The Dixie Youth Baseball Team in Bassfield, Mississippi.

She attended the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church until she moved to Bassfield, Mississippi.

Upon moving to Bassfield, Mississippi, she attended Shorts Chapel C. M. E. Church under the leadership of Pastor Glenda Rawls and Pastor Dana Turner.

Tracey united in holy matrimony to Charles Badon on November 28, 2015.

On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 she answered her Master’s Call in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving and devoted husband Mr. Charles Badon, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; one daughter, Ms. Latoya Brown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; two sons. Desmond (Ashanti) Brown of Picayune, Mississippi and John K. (Joan) Price, Jr. of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi; two sisters, Shalonda Brown and Diana Hathorn both of Picayune, Mississippi;  two step-daughters, Charesia Brown of Lumberton, Mississippi and  Courtney Badon of Picayune, Mississippi; three step-sons, Brian Pittman of Picayune, Makalop Brown of Lumberton, Mississippi and Rod Jones of Collins, Mississippi.

Two grandsons; seven step-grandsons; eight  step grand-daughter; She also leaves her father, Albert Hathorn, a step-father Mr. Jimmy Stubbs, both of Picayune, Mississippi;  one step-mother, Dot Hathorn of  Picayune, Mississippi;  four brothers Dewayne Brown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi,  Sylvester, Albert and Michael Hathorn all of Picayune, Mississippi;  a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death, her mother Mary Dean Stubbs, two grandmothers, Wilkie Brown and Maggie Hathorn, two grandfathers, Edmond Brown and Vest McLaurin, one sister, Stacey Brown, one uncle, James Brown, and one aunt, Maggie Pearl Hathorn.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.  Internment will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
