Poplarville Police Department investigating burglaries

Poplarville Police officers are working to solve a couple of recent burglaries that occurred within the city.
Poplarville Police Chief Butch Raby said the burglaries occurred on December 2. The first one took place on the 400 block of Main St., where a television valued at $170 and other items were taken out of a residence, Raby said.
Raby said the second burglary happened on the 400 block of West Lamar St., where over $1,000 worth of property was stolen out of a residence.
Both burglaries are currently under investigation and there are no suspects at the moment, Raby said.
