Memorial Services for Philip Sherman “Repo” Whitaker, age 54, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Brent King will officiate the service.

A native of Bastrop, Louisiana, he was a musician for several bands. Repo was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Whitaker; his brothers, Ricky Whitaker and Tony Whitaker; and his mother in law, Melissia Blue.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly Whitaker; his mother, Annie Whitaker; his daughter, Brittney A. Whitaker; his stepson David (Sara) Balderas; and his adopted children, Brittany T. Whitaker and Cody Whitaker; two grandchildren, Dewyatt James and Juan David Balderas-Pineda; his sister, Patty Whitaker; his sisters in law, Patsy Whitaker, and Sherry Estay; his father in law and mother in law, Jerry and Martha Estay; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
