Funeral Services for Doris E Cuevas Ladner, age 94, of Catahoula Community, Mississippi, who passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 11:00 am at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Catahoula Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Cedric Lumpkin, Bro. Jason Baker, Bro. Kenny Mitchell, and Bro. James Reeves will officiate the service.

A native of Hancock County, Mississippi, she was a retired Teacher and a member of Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Wilson Cuevas and Annie Landrum Cuevas; her son, Audie Theron Ladner; her sister, Hazel Necaise; and her brothers, Dealus Cuevas and Donnis Cuevas.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Woodrow M. Ladner; her sons, Greg (Janet) Ladner, Daryl (Fay) Ladner, Doyle (Diantha) Ladner, Roddy (Lynn) Ladner, and Brian (Tina) Ladner; her daughter, Rebecca (Leslie) Pullens; her granddaughter, Laura Ladner; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
