Funeral Services for Elroy Warren, age  83, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, formerly of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

A native of Pearl River County, Mississippi,  he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Estes. Elroy was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Thomas Warren, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Spiers Warren; his wife of 56 years, Yvonne Deer Warren; his daughter, Amy Warren; and his sister, Gwen Warren (George) Seal.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Randall (Christine) Warren and Kathy (Dean) Sanders;  four grandchildren, Nathan (Rebecca) Warren, Kayla (Justin) Chafin, Matthew Sanders, and Kim (Ray) Lubke; five great grandchildren, Elijah Warren, Rosemary Warren, Aimee’ Lubke, Presleigh Lubke, and Joseph Lubke; his sister, Carol (Alvin) Dillard; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
