Businesses and local government offices will be closed throughout Pearl River County during the Thanksgiving holiday.

All city administration offices along with the public works department in Picayune will be closed Thursday and Friday and will resume regular operating hours on Monday.

Pearl River County Board Secretary Cindy Lee said county offices will also be closed on Thursday and Friday.

Poplarville city offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, and the public works department will only respond to emergencies during that time, City Clerk Jane O’Neal said.
