William Rupert Malone

Funeral Services for William Rupert Malone, age 96, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, will be held Friday, November 10, 2017, at 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service.
A native of Calhoun County, Mississippi, he was a retired Business Owner for over 50 years at Car Parts Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Rupert was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. He was appointed a Charter Member at Millbrook Country Club and was given a Lifetime Honorary Membership. Rupert was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Scott Malone and Margaret Sherman Malone; his wife, Judy Malone; his brothers, Jerry Malone and Ottis Malone; and his sister, Mary Lou Starks; and his grandson, Brian David Malone.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Keith (Linda) Malone, Wayne (Beverly) Malone, and David (Jane) Malone; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Celeste Felten and Bernice Lukens.
