Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 12:00 pm in The Glorious Church for Mrs Alice Loper age: 46 of Petal, Mississippi who died Friday September 1, 2017 in Poplarville, Mississippi.

The Rev. Victor Robinson Sr., will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Dave Monday Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi.

A native of Baton Rouge, LA she was a Teacher Assistance in Hattiesburg Public School System. She was a member of Glorious Church and also Director of the Youth Department.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Derrit Loper, Purvis, Mississippi, two daughters, Denisha Loper and Valencia Johnson, both of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, parents, Rev. Freddie Johnson Sr. and Velma Johnson, Baldin, LA, one brother, Freddie Johnson, McKenney, TX, and  mother-in-law, Edna Loper, Poplarville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10:00 – noon in The Glorious Church, 24 Burton Rd. Poplarville, Mississippi.
