Graveside funeral services for Herbert “Herb” Leroy Lane, 72, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at New Palestine Cemetery.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Jeremy Williams will officiate the service.
A native of Orange, TX, he retired from Lucent Technology in December, 1999 as a telecommunications specialist, and worked for FEMA from 2006 and retired March, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Leroy Lane, Sr and mother, Gladys Odom Lane.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Sandra Robishaw Lane; his children, Todd Lane, Tommy (Kristina) Lane, Jessica Penton, and Casey Penton; one grandson, Brady Lane; and his lifelong friend of over 52 years, Bill Brumfield.
