Lucinda Grace Hinman Reed Hinkson

Lucinda Grace Reed Hinkson, née Hinman, age 87, of Picayune and Branson, Missouri, formerly of Slidell, La. went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., surrounded by her loving family.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Moreland S. Reed, and by her second husband, George A. Hinkson.
Left to cherish her memory are four children, Linda (Darryl) Buras of Hammond, La.; Judith Still of Branson, Mo.; Joseph Thomas Reed (Linda) of Slidell, La.; and Barbara Reed of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; six grandsons, 12 great-grandchildren and many friends.
Mrs. Hinkson, known as “Dolly”, enjoyed playing cards, making jewelry, and going to shows in Branson. She also enjoyed traveling and making new friends. She was a volunteer at Cox Memorial Hospital in Branson and was active in the senior center in Picayune.
There will be a memorial service in her honor on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Chapel in the Pines, Picayune, Miss. at 11:30 a.m. Friends are invited to attend.
Cremation was handled by Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell, La. Burial will be in their Garden of Memories, next to her first husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, in memory of Dolly.
