Phillips Building Supply had their vendor expo demonstration on Friday.
During the event, Phillips had several vendors on location including Makita, Diablo, Senco, Toro and Ozco.
Victor Bergeron, with Senco tools and fasteners, brought a number of different tools with him for the demonstration including nailers, staplers and screw guns.
Bill Baumann, of Diablo Tools, brought a number of various circular saw blades, including the carbide tipped blade. Baumann said the carbide blade is the first of its kind, capable of cutting through cast iron and stainless steel.
Ozco Building Products was also represented at the expo. Ozco had a display of decorative structural wood connectors, but the company also carries fence hardware and oil based wood stain.
Makita Power Tools participated in the expo by bringing cordless hand tools, concrete saws, demolition hammers, reciprocating saws, cordless radios and angle grinders. Makita representative, Jason Baham, traveled up from Folsom, Louisiana to participate.
Toro also had a display of lawnmowers at the expo.
Big Green Egg was also at the expo performing cooking demonstrations to see how different types of meat would cook on the grill. The grill comes in seven different sizes.
All products featured at the expo are sold at Phillips Building Supply, said Manager Jerry Matthews.
Matthews is hoping to put together another expo in the fall.
