Zimmerman in the news again

George Zimmerman is in the news again, but this time he’s the one being shot at.
For those that may have forgotten, Zimmerman was acquitted in the case of the shooting death of an unarmed teen in 2012, Trayvon Martin.
This week, Zimmerman was reportedly the victim of road rage. While details are scarce, what has been released is that a Florida man shot at Zimmerman’s vehicle, causing glass to hit Zimmerman and cause minor injuries.
A story released by USA Today states that the two men, Zimmerman and Matthew Apperson, had engaged in a road rage incident in September of last year.
Apparently that previous altercation stood out in Apperson’s mind because, according to the USA Today story, Apperson was following Zimmerman for a while before deciding to fire a shot into the vehicle. The story states that Zimmerman was in town for the Mother’s Day weekend when the incident took place.
In addition to the story about Zimmerman shooting and killing an unarmed teen while conducting a neighborhood watch, he has been the focus of other recent headlines, including the alleged abuse of a girlfriend, alleged threats to his ex-wife and an alleged assault on her father. No charges were filed in any of those reported incidents.
Since no reports have been filed, no charges were pressed, but these stories lead some to suspect there may be a dark side to Zimmerman.
Or, it may be that ever since he was acquitted Zimmerman is now a target and any action he takes is mistakenly regarded as hostile.
Alternately, it’s also possible that these stories may predict the future of a man will be in the headlines repeatedly.
