Pearl River Community College is giving locals a chance to experience the sights and sounds of London. PRCC will be providing a tour of London for students, faculty and the public.
PRCC Instructor Jason Ramshur is leading the sightseeing tour, which will provide travelers the opportunity to soak in history at the British Museum, see a theater performance, and visit the Stonehenge monument, among other things.
Ramshur said he was inspired to start the tour after he took a tour of Italy and Greece a couple of years ago.
“I had a really good time on it, so I thought it would be a good experience for students and community members to be involved in,” he said.
The total price of the trip depends on the age of the traveler. The price for those younger than 30 is $3,298. The price for anyone older than 30 is $3,448. The price includes hotel accommodations and airfare.
Ramshur said interested parties need to sign up before the Feb. 22 deadline. After the deadline, there will be a late fee associated with the traveling cost.
Enrollment can be done at efcollegestudytours.com/enroll, or by e-mail at efcollegestudytours.com/enrollmentbook or by telephone at (877) 485- 4184.
The tour will run from May 28 until June 3.
Ramshur said the trip is open to anyone who’s interested.
“The more the merrier,” he said.
Next year, Ramshur plans on leading another tour to Greece.
