Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at White Funeral Home Poplarville for William Robert “Billy” Amacker, 51, of Poplarville who passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Poplarville.

Burial will be in Amacker Cemetery in Poplarville.

Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate at the services.

Mr. Amacker was a member of Central Baptist Church in McNeill, a graduate of Pearl River Community College and Ole Miss. School of Pharmacy. He was employed with Walgreens as a Pharmacist.

Survivors include: his wife, Denise Hawthorne Amacker of Poplarville; his parents, Bill and Gloria Amacker of Poplarville; three sons, Blake Amacker of Oxford, Miss., Brandon Amacker of Oxford, and Mack (Amanda) Vaughn of Brandon, Miss.; one daughter, Leigh (Guy Rae) Holston of Poplarville; one brother, Brian (Teresa) Amacker of Poplarville; one sister, Beth Keeling of Lufkin, Texas; and five grandchildren, Jacee Holston, Dylan Griffin, Gavin Rae Holston, Wyatt Holston, and Kaylee Vaughn.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville from 12 noon until 2 p.m.

White Funeral Home of Poplarville is in charge of the arrangements.
