Located at 2018 Hwy 11 N., in Picayune, Sho-Nuff BBQ & Catering held its Chamber Ribbon Cutting on Thursday.
A large group of Chamber members and elected officials turned out for the event; many were familiar with the fare from the recent Picayune Backyard Barbeque in which team Sho-Nuff won Overall Best Barbecue and many other trophies.
Managers, Reggie Smith and Louis Graham (who are also ministers), said it has been a dream of theirs to operate a restaurant together. They have catered for churches over the past years and their recent track record for winning barbecue championships let them know they had a quality product.
They are both from Picayune and say that in addition to their award winning barbecue they also make a great peach cobbler.
“We go the extra mile and do everything to the best of our ability. We treat everyone with respect and dignity. Integrity in our personal and business dealings is something we take great pride in,” said Smith and Graham.
Hours of operation are Tuesday and Wednesday lunch from 11 a..m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. They can be reached at 601-590-4980 or via email at shonuffbarbeque@gmail.com. The business requires 3 days notice for catering.
