Ronald Joseph Gaubert, Sr., 69, of Carriere passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Ronald moved here twenty-four years ago from Louisiana. He was a welder and a Catholic.

He was the beloved son of Roy Gaubert and the late Anna Mae Gaubert; beloved husband of Shirley Gaubert of Carriere; the beloved father of Chad J. Gaubert of Carriere, April Lyn Gaubert of Carriere and Bobbie Lynn Armstrong of Alabama, and the late Ronald Gaubert, Jr. beloved brother of Gerald Gaubert of Marrero, Louisiana, Emmitt Gaubert of Carriere, Audrey Bartholew of Marrero, Louisiana, Pamela Vegas of Metairie, Louisiana and the late Perry Gaubert; and the beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
