Day Star, a new Christian counseling and ministry training center in Bay St. Louis, will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Feb. 16, in advance of its first training session leading to credentialing in Belief Therapy. Day Star is affiliated with The Therapon Institute, a non-denominational, approved 501 (c) 3 religious non-profit organization that pioneered the ground-breaking Belief Therapy counseling model. Belief Therapy is faith-based counseling that assists hurting people in resolving the root causes of most personal distortions and disorders.

On Feb.16, Day Star will officially open with a ribbon cutting at the center, 10469 Highway 60, Bay St. Louis. Local officials have been invited to attend, along with members of the public and the press. Day Star is located on the west side of Highway 603, just south of the Waveland-Kiln Cutoff Road.

On March 15, Day Star will begin its first three-day training session for the Certified Belief Therapist designation. The seminar leads to the Therapon Institute’s basic Christian counseling certification, and includes a program consisting of 13 comprehensive phases.
