Two young Huntsville men sought in the robbery and slaying of a Mississippi man have surrendered to authorities.
Coley Roberts turned himself in to the Madison County Sheriff’s office on Thursday, a day after Darrious Baker also surrendered.
Roberts and Baker, both 19, are wanted for questioning in the Sunday murder of Laventric Vantrell Eades, 29, in Meridian, Miss.
Mississippi authorities said that the two men crashed the front door of a Meridian home occupied by Eades, Dennis D. Johnson and two young children.
Eades was shot once in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at a local hospital later that morning. Johnson and the children were not hurt.
Authorities said an undisclosed amount of money was reportedly taken during the attack.
