A former member of the Moss Point school board faces up to 95 years in prison after being convicted of Medicare fraud.

Pamela Hull was found guilty Thursday by a federal court jury in Gulfport on 15 counts related to health care fraud. Authorities said she was the co-owner of a business that falsely billed Medicare for more than $23 million.

The case involved Rehabilicare, which was advertised as a physical medicine company. Prosecutors said the company paid the untrained workers $10 to $18 patient — but Rehabilicare billed Medicare as much as $1,300 a visit.
