The Air Force Reserve’s 403rd Wing, which includes “hurricane hunting” aircraft, has a new commander.

Col. James Muscatell told a crowd Sunday at Keesler Air Force Base that his role is to give reservists the tools they need to do their jobs, remove any roadblocks and trust them to accomplish their missions.

Sunday’s ceremony also marked the retirement of outgoing commander Brig. Gen. Richard Moss, who was leaving the military after 38 years including four years with the 403rd.
