Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at White Funeral Home for Robert Lee Matthews Jr., 58, of Poplarville, who died Thursday Oct. 19, 2006.

A native of Poplarville, he served in the National Guard and was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Matthews of Poplarville; five sons, Robert Matthews of Wiggins, Richard Matthews, David Matthews, George Matthews and Lee Clark all of Poplarville; a brother, Leander Matthews of Pearl River, La.; two sisters, Gwndolin Cunningham of Greenville SC and Iris Wells of Poplarville and six grandchildren.
