A suspect has been identified following an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Jackson Landing Road, according to the Picayune Police Department.

Officers responded to the store around 8 p.m. on April 26 after a black male entered the business, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. The suspect, later identified as Daylen Lucas, fled the scene in an unknown direction. Police said it is unclear whether he left on foot or in a vehicle.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and gathered evidence leading to Lucas’ identification. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on a charge of armed robbery.
