Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church, 921 Baylous Street, Picayune, Miss. Visitation will one hour prior to service time. The Rev. Henry S. Marshall will be the officiant.
Jeanette Rancifer was born on July 26, 1959, to the late James Rancifer and Beatrice RanciferDurr.
Sis. Jeanette was a member of Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Delbert Hall.
She was a graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, Class of 1977. She was known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit during her years of employment at Sherral’s Diner, McNeil and Carriere Truck Stop. Jeanette brought warmth, joy, and a friendly smile to every place she worked. Jeanette had a deep love for life, family and a light in the lives of all who knew her.
On Friday, April 11, 2025 God sent his precious angels to give her peace and rest, embraced by her loving and devoted family at the age of 65.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Beatrice Rancifer Durr, and her precious grandchildren, Legacy Rancifer and Anthony Griffin Jr., and great-granddaughter, Autumn.
She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy, her four devoted children, LaShawnta Rancifer, Lamontya Rancifer, Dorothy Bickham, and Beatrice Hart; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.
She also leaves behind her loving siblings; Nathan (LuShawnda) Middleton, Annie Marie Rancifer, Jannie (Harold) Mickels, Johnny (Sabrina) Fells, James (Carolyn) Rancifer, Cynthia (Deon) McDougle, John Coleman, and Charlene Davis; her goddaughter, Keyontae Jenkins; her devoted special friend, Joseph Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
