Memorial Services will be held at Roseland Park Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10 a.m., for Charles “Bill” William Whitman, age 78, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, Miss., he retired with Lockheed Martin as a maintenance mechanic, and was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Bill was a Vietnam Veteran where he proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. He later retired with the MS Army National Guard as an E-6.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Whitman Sr. and Yvonne Bass Sherrer; and his sister, Priscilla Geer.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Marie Antoinette Coleman Whitman; his daughter, Alexia (Christopher) Antoinette Miller; his grandson, Courtland (Courtney) G. Pearson; his brother, Tony Whitman; and his great granddaughter, Eden Grey Pearson.
