With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, James Cary Mounsey, on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at the age of 78.  Born on April 10, 1946 in Berkeley, Calif., he is deeply mourned by his wife, Anh; daughter, Thuy (Richard); son, William (Maria); and nine grandchildren, Diane, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Joseph, Julia, Brandon, Joshua, Ethan and Kevin; nine great-grandchildren, and four siblings, Rick, Robert, John and Mary.

James was welcomed in heaven and is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Joan Mounsey, and brother, David.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home located at 401 W. Canal Street, Picayune, Miss.
