Marlaine Glasscock Pitre passed away Sept. 30, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

Marliane was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Douglas Glasscock and Lela Loraine Couch Glasscock; brothers, Loren Douglas Glasscock, Jonathan Linwood Glasscock, and Robert “Buzz” Glasscock; brothers-in-law, Sam Megehee, Philip Elrod, and Larry Dean; nephew, Doug Glasscock, and niece, Lisa Lee.

Marlaine is survived by her husband, John C. Pitre Sr.; son, John Coleman Pitre Jr.; siblings, Pat Megehee, Lolita Lee, Annette Dean, Silvia Powell, David Glasscock (Marsha), Darlaine Cook (Nita Vickers); sister-in-law, Sharon Glasscock, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
