Jane Stockstill Powe, age 90, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at 1 p.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Wayne Stockstill and the Rev. Walt Barnes will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Miss., she was a retired Bank Vice President for Bank Plus and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. Up until the very end, she was a hard worker and the most loving person you ever could meet. She never forgot anyone at Christmas. She bought presents for everyone of her family members and stayed in contact with each of them faithfully. Most of all, she was truly a Godly woman whose greatest joy was sharing her love of her Lord and Savior in hopes they would give their life to the Lord and know the happiness she experienced on a daily basis in her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 devoted years, William Blanchard Powe Sr.; parents, Lavelle W. Stockstill Sr. and Lula Wesley Spiers Stockstill; brothers, Van Merle (Sybil) Stockstill Sr., Charles Ray (Kay) Stockstill, Huey Stockstill Sr., Lavelle W. Stockstill Jr., and Benjamin Franklin “B. F.” Stockstill; daughter-in-law, Donna Powe; brothers-in-law, Al Norwood and Jim Appleby.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Rebecca Powe; sons, William B. (Brenda) Powe Jr., Mark Alan (Kathy) Powe, and Kenneth (Erin) Powe; grandchildren, Stacey (Romel) Sadaiappen, Wesley Powe, Christopher Powe, Matthew (Brandi) Powe, Seth (Edie) Simpson, Guy (Brittany) Schenck, Grant (Chelsea) Shaw, George Schenck, Daniel Simpson, Stephanie (Freddie) Spiers, Jennifer (Reese) Watkins, and Alicia (Paul) Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Dr. Savannah Sadaiappen, Brett Powe, Tristan Powe, Rylie Sadaiappen, Kyle Powe, Tori Simpson, Hunter Bond, Hayden Bond, Caitlyn Bond, Kennedy Kelly, Huntleigh Powe, Abram Powe, Brittany Goode, Blake Goode, Aaron Landry, Haley Cousins, Katelyn Treadaway, Keagan Pearson, Kade Pearson, Ronald Alexander, Tiffany (Jason) Pilgrim, Charlie Schenck, Kohler Schenck, Hudson Schenck, Phoebe Schenck, Maxson Schenck, Sebastian Schenck, Dalton Whittington, Will Simpson, Slade Simpson, Kadence Shaw and Kinsley Shaw; sisters, Virginia “Nelda” Norwood and Jo Appleby;  brother, Wayne (Gloria) Stockstill; sister-in-law, Gayle Stockstill; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
