A three-month investigation by the Poplarville Police Department resulted in the arrest of two individuals on Aug. 23, 2024, following the execution of a search warrant at Starkey Trailer Park.

Officers recovered methamphetamine, ecstasy, Adderall, scales, and other drug paraphernalia during the search. They also seized $350 in cash.

David Jerome Bowden, 55, and Jeannette Butler Bowden, 66, were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Officers with the Poplarville Police Department, including a new narcotics investigator, conducted the search and arrests.
