A 17-year-old resident of Carriere, Justin Schielder, lost his life on Thursday morning in Pearl River County following a three-vehicle collision. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck crossed the highway’s center line, colliding with two cars.

The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. when Schneider drove south in a 2006 Toyota Scion. The pickup truck, traveling north, veered over the center line, resulting in a collision with Schielder’s vehicle and a 2002 Chevrolet passenger car driven by an 83-year-old woman. The elderly driver’s condition remains unclear, and it is yet to be determined if she sustained any injuries.

The collision is currently under investigation, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol has not disclosed whether the pickup truck driver suffered injuries or was charged. The community awaits additional information as authorities work to piece together the details surrounding the incident.
