On Monday, two standout high school football players from the Picayune Maroon Tide, Jamonta Waller and Chris Davis, were presented with jerseys for the U.S. Army Bowl during a ceremony in Frisco, Texas.
The U.S. Army Bowl, featuring 80 of the nation’s top high school football players, will showcase the talents of Waller, a five-star edge rusher committed to Auburn, and Davis, a four-star running back committed to Stanford. The duo will represent Picayune in the Lone Star state in a Monday, December 18th competition.
Additionally recognized as an Under Armour All-American, Waller is set to participate in the Under Armour All-America Game on January 3rd in Orlando, Florida.
