City of Picayune Hosts Annual Christmas on the Rails Event

On Saturday, the City of Picayune organized its Annual Christmas on the Rails event, providing a festive setting for residents and visitors to enjoy holiday activities.
Crosby Commons served as a Christmas village’s location, offering attendees rides, inflatables, and crafts. The area provided a family-friendly environment for seasonal entertainment.
City Hall featured snacks, drinks, and live entertainment, enhancing the event experience. On the other hand, Canal Street transformed into a shopping area with the added attractions of Mr. and Mrs. Claus for photos, a projection for movies and music, and hot chocolate and snow stations scattered across downtown.
Mayor Luke estimated that more than 250 individuals visited the Mayor’s office for the Civic Woman’s Club Christmas Pilgrimage. Despite adverse weather conditions, Christmas on the Rails saw a substantial turnout.
