Warren Charles Woessner, Sr. age 76, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday July 15, 2019.

Warren originated from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a retired fireman and a bus driver for both PRC and Picayune school districts. He was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Anna K Woessner of Picayune, Mississippi; one son, Warren Woessner, Jr. (Dayna) of Holden, Louisiana; two daughters, Anne Thrasher of Carriere, Mississippi, and Maureen Fontenot (Robert) of Independence, Louisiana;  one brother, William “Toby” Woessner of Covington, Louisiana; one sister, Sandra Zeringue of Covington, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Robert Jr, Mollie, Samantha, Blake, DeAnna, Stephen, Warren III, and Mason; five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Fredrick Woessner and Rita Mary Nuemann.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Robert Fontenot officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery #2 in New Orleans, Louisiana, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
