Moore Chiropractic Clinic has added a new doctor and location to its ever-growing business.

Dr. Debbie Moore said she brought in the clinic’s newest chiropractor, Dr. I-Keyanna Hamlin, DC, back in July after she graduated from Life University in Marietta, Ga., in June. Hamlin began by helping out around the office until she received her license to practice chiropractic care in October.

Hamlin is a native of Plattsburgh, New York, but also attended Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi where she received her undergraduate degree.

Hamlin said her favorite thing about being a chiropractor is how patients’ eyes light up when she shows them how their mobility is restored through her care.

“I call it magic, but it’s really what the body is supposed to do, I just get to facilitate that,” Hamlin said.

A location in Lumberton was also added on Nov. 17 of this year, where Hamlin helps the community with their chiropractic needs.

Renovations were also conducted to the Carriere location. Moore said those renovations began back in January and wrapped up in May. She said the business started by occupying one suite; it now occupies three.

The renovations provided an open adjustment area, semi private adjustment room, classroom for CPR courses, a fully accessible handicap restroom and more room for staff to work.

Moore still offers acupuncture services as well. She said she’s the only chiropractor who is licensed to provide that care in the state of Mississippi and she’s the only one to accept insurance for acupuncture.

Moore said she plans to open another clinic in Hattiesburg in the near future. She currently employs nine people between the two locations.

Moore Chiropractic Clinic in Lumberton is located at 203 West Main Avenue, and can be reached by calling 769-301-3575. That location is open Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Saturday by appointment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Carriere location is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 8 to 12 by appointment on Saturday. It’s located at 6682 Highway 11 N. and staff can be reached by calling 601-749-4939.
