Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Outreach Ministries, 502 Jarrell Street, Picayune, Miss. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Pastor Carl Flowers will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery, 8th Street, Picayune, Miss..
Herman Williams was born in Picayune, Miss. on Oct. 3, 1953, to the late Luther Williams Sr. and Ernestine Williams.
Herman attended Carver High School and Pearl River Community College. He enlisted in United States Navy in February of 1972. He began working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Stennis Space Center in security as a dispatcher/sergeant and retired in 2014. During his time at NASA, Herman was recognized for multiple accomplishments and achievements.
Herman loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan and never missed a game. He loved fishing, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved attending Blue Angels Air Shows.
Herman transitioned to be with his heavenly Father on April 8, 2025 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Williams Sr. and Ernestine (Pittman) Williams; brothers, Major Williams, Arthur Dean Daniel, Michael Williams, Luther Williams Jr., and Phillip Pittman and granddaughter, Nariah Mondy.
Herman leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories and happy moments to his three daughters, Terenia Williams, Hope Williams Cooke (Ronald), and Monique Williams (Michael Henry Sr.); three sons, Perren Mondy (Tierra), David Mondy (Sherresha), and Antonio Mondy; sister, Lamathelle Williams; 15 grandchildren, Krista, Chris Jr., Jamarius, La’Darius, Jaselyn, Major, Journey, Amari, Shana, Autumn, Lilianna, David Jr., Tajon, Tajonae, Antonio Jr., and Aniya, and special friend, Lashawnta Rancifer and her children, Jessica, Jaquarin, and A’lisha. A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
