Search Warrant Leads to Arrests in Pearl River County

In collaboration with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on River Road on Wednesday. Three people were arrested.
Investigators identified Michael Croney, Gwendolyn Budinger, and Amber Pelas at the scene. During the search, Budinger was found in possession of methamphetamine, while Croney and Pelas were found with drug paraphernalia.
All three individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility for booking. Charges are as follows:
- Gwendolyn Budinger: Felony possession of methamphetamine
- Michael Croney: Possession of paraphernalia
- Amber Pelas: Possession of paraphernalia
The investigation is still ongoing, and no more details were immediately available. Authorities urge residents to report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement.
