On Friday, before the Picayune High School varsity football game, the Picayune School District honored students from Lower Elementary to High School who achieved the highest score of 5 on their recent state testing. Each student’s name was announced over the loudspeakers as part of the district-wide recognition.

Superintendent Dean Shaw praised the students’ efforts, stating, “Scoring a level 5 is a big accomplishment for the students, the school, and our school district. We want to recognize them for the hard work they put into the state testing, as well as recognizing the parents.”
