Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Reports August DUI Arrests

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office (PRCSO) reported several DUI arrests in August, with officers conducting routine traffic stops and responding to incidents involving impaired drivers.
On Aug. 2, Garred Toney, 39, was arrested for DUI second offense, child endangerment, driving with a suspended license, and other violations. The arrest followed a traffic stop where his vehicle was observed crossing into the oncoming lane.
On Aug. 3, Michael Broadus, 32, was arrested for DUI first offense after deputies observed erratic driving on Interstate 59. His blood alcohol content (BAC) measured 0.11.
On Aug. 4, Michael Slayton, 44, was arrested for DUI first offense, resisting arrest, and failure to yield to emergency vehicles. Slayton was stopped after failing to respond to lights and sirens.
Additional DUI arrests include:
- Aug. 7: Julio Rivera, 44, was arrested for DUI first offense following a traffic stop.
- Aug. 8: Paul Guchereau, 42, was arrested for DUI first offense after a vehicle pursuit.
- Aug. 9: Cecily Stockstill, 27, was arrested for DUI first offense and speeding, with a child in the vehicle.
- Aug. 18: Harry Buckley, 26, was arrested for DUI first offense. Open alcohol containers were found in his vehicle.
- Aug. 20: Christopher Cagins, 45, was arrested for DUI third offense and a controlled substance violation.
- Aug. 22: Gary Fishback, 63, was arrested for DUI first offense after an accident.
- Aug. 25: Braxton Guerra, 20, was arrested for DUI first offense after a single-vehicle crash.
- Aug. 31: Dylan Griffin, 22, and Nikolas Scott Salisbury, 25, were arrested for DUI in separate incidents involving traffic violations.
