Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at 2 p.m.., visitation from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., at Baylous Funeral Home for Fred L. Johnson, age 69 of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Sept. 10, 2024 in Slidell Memorial Hospital.
A native of Picayune, Miss. Fred worked for the City of Picayune, and Huey Stockstill, until his health failed.
Survived by his four sisters, Geraldine Little and Mary Ann Paige of Picayune, Miss., Dorothy Clark and Elizabeth Perkins both of Hattiesburg, Miss.; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Balaam and Carrie Mae Johnson; siblings, Herman Johnson, L.C. Bettis, Clyde Bettis, Isabell Gray, Lula Ella Jones, Mattie Santee, Ruth Armstrong and Ruby Walker.
Burial in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
