Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at 11 a.m., at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church for Audrey Jane Butler, age 81, who passed away Sept. 4, 2024, at Universal Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.

The Rev. Cook will officiate at the service.  Burial in the Rose Park Cemetery, Poplarville, Miss.  She was a member of Triumph Missionary Baptist Church. Her minission was feeding the garage worker every garage day. Survivors include her three sons, Charles Woodard and Alex Amerson Jr., of Poplarville, Miss., Ernest Franks of Bogalusa, La.; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Raine of Poplarville, Miss., and one brother, Billy Smith of Arkansas.

Preceded in death by her husband, Alex Amerson Sr.; one son, Timothy Woodward; one daughter, Virginia Woodard; parents, Joseph Smith and Cresa Mae Butler, and one brother, Bobby Smith.
