Harry Jeffrey Russ “Red”, age 66, of Poplarville, Miss. passed away on Thursday Aug. 1, 2024. Red was a member of Steep Hollow Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Red was loved by many and spent most of his days working hard with cattle and enjoyed his time at the stockyards in both Poplarville and Hattiesburg. Red also loved fishing and spending time with friends and family when he wasn’t working.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Russ and Delthea Russ, by his beloved mate for 42 years Judy Grantham and his nephew, George Dudley Russ.

Red leaves to forever cherish his memory to his brother, Dudley Russ; his nephew, Benny Russ and wife, Meranda; great nephew, Justice Russ; nephew, Brett Russ and wife Samantha.

Family and friends are invited to attend Red’s Memorial Service Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024. There will be a time of visitation with the family at 10:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. at College Heights Baptist Church located at 405 Hwy 11 North Poplarville, Miss. Fellowship and lunch will follow the services also at College Heights.
