Picayune Mayor’s Youth Council Selects 2024-2025 Members

The Picayune Mayor’s Youth Council has announced its selected members for the 2024-2025 term. The council comprises students from Picayune Memorial High School (PMHS) and other eligible schools within the 39466 zip code.
Eligibility requirements for the council include being a student in grades 10 through 12 in a public or private school, or of equivalent age in other educational settings, and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.25. Selected members will participate in programs and activities focused on addressing issues that affect the youth and community, team-building, learning about city departments and their functions, and working with the mayor and city officials. Seniors on the council will also have a scholarship opportunity.
