Pearl River County Sheriff’s Release December Arrests

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS – The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department conducted a series of operations resulting in the arrest of individuals involved in various criminal activities. The arrests, carried out by deputies and investigators, cover a range of offenses from drug-related violations to weapons charges.
Bradley Dakota Martin Arrested in Traffic Stop
On December 1, 2023, deputies arrested Bradley Dakota Martin (28) during a traffic stop in the Whitesand Community. Martin was taken into custody for controlled substance violations based on an indictment by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department. A subsequent search of Martin’s vehicle revealed methamphetamine and torn baggies, leading to charges of tampering with evidence and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. As a convicted felon, Martin faced an additional charge for the illegal possession of a firearm in his residence.
Justice Carr Taken Into Custody after Welfare Check
Deputies responded to a welfare check on December 6, 2023, at 14 Leo Eaves Rd., leading to the arrest of Justice Carr (35). Carr was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine, resulting in charges of possession of controlled substances with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ezekiel Mayblen Apprehended for Homicide
On December 7, 2023, Investigators assisted the US Marshal’s service in apprehending Ezekiel Mayblen (27) of Theodore, Alabama, wanted for homicide in Utah. Mayblen was taken into custody without incident at a Millard landfield where he was working. After being held at the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office, Mayblen was extradited to Utah.
Jakob Carnegie Still At Large after Pursuit
Narcotics Investigators attempted to stop Jakob Carnegie (24) on December 12, 2023, resulting in a pursuit. Another vehicle attempted to interfere, and Carnegie attempted to evade law enforcement, leading to a wreck in Washington Parish. While Dixon and Anderson were arrested for conspiracy and hindering prosecution, Carnegie remains at large.
Adam Scarbrough and John Parker Arrested after Traffic Stop
On December 16, 2023, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, leading to the arrest of Adam Scarbrough (34) and John Parker (46). The stolen vehicle contained drug paraphernalia, and both individuals face various charges, including possession of stolen property.
Jessica Longoria and Jayson House Arrested for Firearms Violation
On December 21, 2023, Investigators conducted a knock and talk at 1106 River Road, resulting in the arrest of Jessica Longoria (41) and Jayson House (39). Longoria, a convicted felon, was found in possession of a firearm, while House faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jarred Walder Arrested for Assault
On December 29, 2023, Investigators and Deputies responded to 13 Moose Trail, Poplarville, MS, to execute an arrest warrant for assault from St. Tammany Parish for Jarred Walder (38). Walder was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and a shotgun. As a convicted felon, Walder faced charges of possession of paraphernalia, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
