Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist church.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Justin Anderson will officiate at the service.

Bob was very proud to have served his country.  He was in the Air Force and a member of the Bombardment Wing SAC at Fort Briggs, El Paso, Texas.  He then was a computer graphics technician for Exxon Chemical company until his retirement.  Bob had many interests.  He was an avid photographer for many years.  He loved music and served many years ago as church music director.  He was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist church, where he was a deacon and was very involved in church activities.  Bob was a devout Christian.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stuart Nix; his parents, Daniel Webster “D.W.” Nix and Jessie Leigh Wilkes Nix; his brother, Virgil Webb Nix; and his sister, Tina Evelyn Norsworthy.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister in law, Jeanette Stuart; and his many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
