Walk through viewing at 11 a.m. in Triumph Missionary Baptist Church for Queen Ella Mixon, age 71, of Poplarville, MS, who died May 4, 2020 at her home.
A native of Poplarville, MS, she was a member of Triumph Missionary Baptist Church and served as an Usher. She graduated from Todd Memorial High School. She attended Pearl River Jr., College and played Basketball.
Survivors include 2 sons, Martin Mixon, and Christopher Mixon both of Polarville, MS; 5 brothers, John C. Mixon, of Las Vegas, NV, Charles Swing, of CA, Mark Swing of GA, Roger Swing and Willie Ray Swing of Poplarville, MS; 5 sisters, Jerrie Rankin, of VA, Susan Lee, Minnie Harmon, Ella Smith Swing, all of Poplarville, MS, and Debra Ann Swing of Biloxi, MS; 8 grandchildren, and 3 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by mother Inez Harmon; and 2 brothers, David Mixon and George Mixon.
Grave side service at 12:30 at Rosa Park Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
