Even though the name has changed, the staff and care they provide in the field of orthodontics remains the same.

That’s the message the staff at Smile Doctors would like the people of Pearl River County to know, said Practice Director Sharon Deas.

Formerly known as DN Orthodontics, three dentists work out of the Picayune location of Smile Doctors; those include Jack Devereux, DDS, MS; Eun-Chee Lee, DDS, MSD; and Brian Duvernay, DDS.

As part of Smile Doctors, the doctors rotate from the Picayune and Gulfport locations to meet their client’s orthodontic needs. With 200 offices across the country, there are also Smile Doctor locations in Columbia and Oak Grove.

DN Orthodontics has been operating in Picayune for the past 18 years and became part of the Smile Doctors family about a year ago.

The staff pride themselves on “giving patients the ultimate experience,” Deas said.

The business employs 12 people locally in the Picayune office, many of which also work out of the Gulfport office.

“We have the most wonderful doctors and the best staff,” Deas said.

Services at Smile Doctors can straighten teeth and also remedy cross bite, over bite and under bite through the traditional use of braces and Invisalign products; the latter are popular with adult patients because it can be removed from the mouth at their discretion, Deas said.

Schedules at the Picayune location vary on the patient load. Smile Doctors is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. on Fridays, but the Picayune and Gulfport offices are typically open only two days a week. Schedules for each office are made a month in advance, so appointments are required.
